Caterpillar calls it a Dealer Customer Number. Wagner has been printing it on your invoices since the day you opened the account.
How to find your DCN.
Parts.Cat.Com asks for a Dealer Customer Number when you register. That is Caterpillar’s name for the customer number Wagner already prints on your paperwork. Pick whichever document you have and follow the three steps.

Grab any invoice.
Any date, any branch. An old one works fine.

Look at the header.
Top of page one, right-hand column.

Read Customer No.
That is your DCN. Not the invoice number above it.

Grab a statement.
The monthly one your office receives.

Look at the top block.
Next to the remit-to address.

Read Account No.
Cleanest source — statements cover the whole account.

Grab a counter ticket.
The receipt from the parts counter.

Look near the top.
If the paper has faded, tilt it toward a light.

Read CUST.
Shortened on tickets, but it is the same number.
Make sure you have got the right number
1Six to eight digits, no letters.
2Not the invoice number, 4471902.
3Not the machine serial, WGB04471.
4Not your own PO, RIDGE-118.
